What a long day!
Started off my working saturday with the realisation that I screwed up a project. The bosses were none too happy, and all I
really wanted to do was dig a hole somewhere and hide inside. =(
At least things got slightly better..but for a half day, I ended up working till
8.30pm. Sucks! Was supposed to do dinner and a movie with mb, but we ended up having to skip the movie cos' the seats were all sold out..so we went Orchard Ion to shop for his essentials!
Got everything he needed just as
uniqlo was closing. Haha. Then he brought me on a wild goose chase trying to find some wanton mee-cum-dessert stall. I swear my legs are aching now. With that guy ar..I think I need to switch from flats and heels to hiking/running shoes. LOL.
Didn't get to eat my
or nee, but dinner was still good! And I was trying to teach him numbers in chinese over dessert. Super hilarious!
me: "Two is 二."mb: "二?"me: "And ten is 十. Twenty is just two plus ten!"mb: "二十?"me: "Yes! You know what's hundred?"mb: "Hundred is ten plus zero! 十零!"me: *falls off chair laughing*I swear he's so cute. Especially with that accent of his. Hahaha.
And he can be quite a nag! I'm going to
kena from him if I sleep late again tonight. =p
Ohh! Saw the doc again this morning before work..my usual doc on holiday, so this other doctor took over. And he was quite..erm..
gay. Hahaha. The moment I walked in, he went, "Hello geraldine! Come sit down; what's wrong with you dear??" Very loudly too. Haha!
And he continued fussing over me, saying things like, "Let's check if you have a fever dear. Ohh good! No fever!" blah blah blah. The entire consultation took no more than 3 mins I think. I didn't even have a chance to warm the seat. Lol.
Was so amused when I left the clinic. Hahaha.
I think the medicine's pretty effective! Got prescribed stronger antibiotics for my "severe infection"; within an hour of taking it, I could swallow water without much pain! Woots!
Just wanna get this course of med over and done with, and I don't wanna step into any clinic for at least the next year or so. Had enough of being sick and polluting my system with medicine! *shudders*
Meeting lings tomorrow at last! Miss her muchlyy..haha. Shopping and a concert! Yays! =))
And my favourite boy's going to a
hindi pub later, of all places. The weird places his friends hang out at! Then again..such venues can be pretty interesting huh. He wanted me to go along, but seriously, I doubt I would have fitted in such a place. Lol.
Don't think I have time to meet him tomorrow..and he'll be off on shoots again whole of next week. =( It makes no difference even if we work in the same company, really. I think I see people outside of office more than I see him sometimes.
Okays I shall not complain since I'm the one who scheduled the photoshoots. Ohwells.
Hope things will work out fine for my darling mira..shall bring her out to the movies and retail therapy next week! So many movies I wanna catch..
