My weekend getaway was unbelievably
awesome! =D
The night coach to KL was super comfy, albeit freezing. Haha. Leg room was so huge, you could fit another person I think. Reached around 5am; mb booked us swiss garden hotel! Niceee!
His friends were so sweet, they drove all the way down at 5am in the morning to pass us the car they rented for him. It was quite hilarious though, cos' one of them lost the keys to the car we were supposed to use, and we had to make do with a really
cuii one. Which would vibrate and shake like crazy when we went anything above 100km/h. LOL. Talk about speed control. =p
Anyways! We had breakfast before the sun was up, then they left for home..and home for them is like a
45min drive out of KL! He has some pretty amazing friends. =)
Mb then drove me around KL central, and he brought me to batu caves..that place is cool! Limestone caves..climbed the entire
272 steps to the top, where we saw the temple and many many monkeys!
Checked in at the hotel, then lazed awhile before driving to mid-valley mega mall. I swear it's called
mega for a reason. Parking is so darn cheap though..as compared to singapore la. Met up with his friend for lunch before shopping! But seriously, the things there aren't cheap..faceshop in KL is even more expensive than in sg! Plus, I have the discount card over here. Makes no sense for me to shop there.
Didn't buy much cos' they were either too ex, or I can get the same thing in singapore without having to lug a big bag back.
The day got abit more hectic towards night..my boy brought me to the university where he studied, and we met more of his friends! Were kinda late though..didn't get to really tour his campus. But the place is like a mini town! They even have their own car repair workshop. Damn cute la! Totally self-sufficient mans.
And he's indeed mr popular. Everyone from the canteen workers to the security guards to ex-schoolmates all recognised him. Hahaha. Had dinner there with a few of them before leaving for putra jaya!
That place is really gorgeous at night..the lights and view and everything! And the mosques there are totally beautiful. He wasn't wrong when he told me the architecture there was fantastic. It really is!
His mongolian friend was with us and I was talking to him about everything under the sun. Haha.
Continued on to sunway for clubbing! There may no longer be an MOS in singapore, but sunway has
euphoria by MOS! We were there early cos' free entry for ladies before 11pm..and it was completely empty la. Thank god the atmosphere picked up some as the night went on. Mb spent a bomb on opening bottles and such..that's what I adore about him. As long as his friends are happy, anything goes. =)
And his friends' turnout was....
hugeee. I swear my social circle has widened internationally. Hahaha. They're really really nice people..especially the guys close to him. KZ told me, since I'm with him and all them myanmar pple, I must drink the myanmar way. And proceeded to pour me a glass of I-don't-know-what. But he knows I have lousy alcohol tolerance, so actually what he gave me can practically pass off as just mixer. What a sweet guy. Hahaha. And he said that next time whenever mb goes to msia to see them, I must go along and join them tooo. Talk about making the girl feel like she belongs in the clique. =)
Can't wait to go back again! For the first time in my life, I'm actually touring msia for real. And not just going back to the same old tourist spots that I've been going since I was a small girl. Such road trips are the best!!
Anyhows..we clubbed till the wee hours then went for supper. Unfortunately, my korean ramyeon sucked. Lol. Fell asleep the entire ride back and didn't even realise there was a thunderstorm and floods along the route. Left it to the guys to navigate their territory. Hahaha.
Sunday was laid back..slept till super late before having lunch and doing abit more shopping. And I bought
krispy kreme home! Honestly..now that I've bought it and tried it, I don't really get the hype. Even with my sweet tooth, I found it a tad
too sweet. Lol.
Coach back to sg was not bad too; less space and no personal tv, but dinner was provided! Pretty decent food. =)
Totally didn't wanna come back..especially to a
crazy amount of work today. Ohwells. I'm just looking forward to more of such exciting short getaways to spice up my life! I wanna go msia eat seafood next..go sunway lagoon..clubbing again..everywhere!
Am loving life muchhlyy now. I hope it stays good for me..and us! =)
