Met the 29ners for dinner! Yet another one of those
joan-is-flying-back-to-uk meetups. Haha.
But the happy thing is, she'll be back for gooood in another month or so! =D
And we finally met kimchiii! Joan can go back to UK a happy girl. =p
Left office late as usual; I never understand why the bosses
always want to conduct those impromptu meetings right on the dot at knock-off time. Sighh. Anyways, Jeannie was cabbing from home so she picked me from the mrt station!
On hindsight, I should have just saved the money and taken an
11-minute train ride down to cityhall. I would have totally reached before her cab did. And paid ALOT less. =x
Anyways, there was this erp gantry near plaza sing, and it was still in operation. Just nice, we stopped at a red light before the gantry, with two cars in front of us.
Then the cab uncle said, "One more minute." (note the fullstop)
No wonder there were cars and taxis with their hazard lights turned on, stationed
right before the white light shining down from the gantry.
Jeannie and I started going,
ohmygod! One more minute! Ahhhh! I hope the traffic light doesn't turn green!!! (something along those lines laa.)
So we kept
bio-ing the traffic light and praying for the minute to faster faster tick past, and..
The white light went
off!
Jeannie and I: *Whooping/cheering/high-fiving/laughing*I think the cab uncle thought we were mad. Hahaha. He very calmly said something like, "One minute
already." He could have been more excited can. Lol.
It was so hilarious. I swear I love these damn bimbotic moments with the girls. HAHA. What can I say, I'm really a bimbo at heart even if I don't look like one. =p
Anyhows, we queued super freaking long for dinner at
din tai fung laa...and saw pierre png and andrea de cruz! He's one good example of an artiste who looks the same both on-screen and off. There was this really cute boy with him! In matching tshirts somemore..too bad not his son. He looks like he adores kids.
Chilled at MOF after with the girls..traded stories about anything and everything. I miss them so! Ended up not meeting bern and the rest since I figured it's more
nan de that joan is back in sg..I can meet the others anytime, really. Haha. And she said she would
box me if I left early. =p
I want to faster get my shiro! Then can bring jeannie's bubbles,
joan's gerald's chester and my shiro out for a doggies outing!
I talk as though shiro exists already. Looks like I'm going to find a puppy that matches the name, instead of the other way round. Lol.
Working tomorrow, sian to the maxxx! I hate it when
clients ONE particular client asks me
oh-so-casually, "You're working tomorrow,
right?"
Baskettt. In office, we can't even keep track of which saturdays we work sometimes, and my client actually remembers each and every working saturday so that she can make me rush out things for her. When
she's the one who sends them late ALL the time. Puiii.
Ohh!! Liza's given birth! Yet another SP baby..hahaha. So exciting! Me can't wait to see both mummy and baby..her baby really can't wait sia. Today was supposed to be her last day at work before maternity leave, and we actually catered for a buffet farewell lunch.
The funniest part was, when someone announced in office about the happy news this morning, the first question was, "Oh no then what about the buffet??"
HAHA.
I swear I have funny colleagues. =p
Okays my post has been really random. Jumping from topic to topic in no proper order.
