I was sooo right about my dayima dropping by for a visit this week!

Thought my whole day was going to be spent battling cramps and the viral infection, but after one dose of pink panadol this morning, surprisingly the cramps didn't torture me much. Wondering if it's too much to hope for something similar every month from now on. *crosses fingers*

Anyhows..looks like I won't be able to go back to work tomorrow as originally intended..the fever just doesn't go away, and neither does the headache. To top it all off, I now have a very bad nose. Sighh. Really the full works of the virus... =(

Being sick is so super no fun. I haven't ran at all this week! Ultra unfit liao, and I haven't bladed in like two months either. My blades are sitting in one corner of my room, blending into the furniture layout. >_<

My dear sp is going to kill me tomorrow morning when I tell her I'm not going to office..cos' she'll have to sit in the big meeting on my behalf and take notes. Whoops. This is the second time she's being dragged into projects with this client because I'm either on leave or on mc each time..haha. Must make it up to her somehow!

Like my boss puts it, she's developing a history with that organisation. And that will only breed experience, which leads to advancement. Not necessarily a bad thing, right? Lol.

Need to wakeup early to email clients tomorrow..siann. So much for being on mc. Spent today online just so that my colleagues and boss can reach me if necessary.

Looks like it's a very long weekend for me..albeit I can't really enjoy it. Probably gonna cancel my NUH appt on saturday since it's pointless for me to do the tests when I'm on so much medication.

Got a colouring job arranged for saturday! Let's hope I'll be well enough and don't have to cancel. A little bit hesitant though, cos' I'm kinda scared about the damage to my tresses. Already so little and so chemicalised...beauty really comes at a price. =x

Headache headache...waiting for my medicine to take effect and knock me out.
